Cut claim intimation response time from 32 s to 6 s (about 80%) by making external JAX-RS calls asynchronous, caching repeated lookups and moving data-sync calls to Kafka.
Shipped 60+ production features across premium, tax and refund calculation, claim workflows, KYC, reinsurance and policy servicing for multiple insurance products.
Diagnosed and resolved 120+ production issues using Dynatrace and service logs.
Built from scratch the backend for a new life-insurance business: claim intimation, settlement, payout and cancellation, premium receipting and policy issuance.
Built a premium receipting service with the payment gateway team, publishing payment and payer details to Amazon SQS secured with OAuth2.0, with user notifications.
Developed a payout and rebooking service that creates bookings and updates balances across agent, customer, contract and internal accounts.
Secured services with OAuth2.0 and JWT authentication.
Mentor 6+ junior developers and review the team's pull requests; partner with BA leads and the team's business analysts, QA engineers and developers from requirements to release.
